Kingfisher wins Championship Trophy
Kingfisher
Kingfishers keep their position in the premier league by winning convincingly the Champions Trophy held at Norwich UEA this weekend 17th&18th April. A round robin between 6 other teams Manchester, Leeds, Highbury, Norwich and two other teams from Kent, Tornadoes & Invicta. The top four going through to play in the premier league 2010/11. Kingfisher only loosing one game on day one where sitting comfortably in second place. Day two with games against Tornadoes then Invicta, a win would keep them in the premier league. Kingfisher won the game against Tornadoes 5-12, all that stood in their way now was Invicta, by half time Kingfisher were in the lead and stretched this even further in the second half winning 5-11. What was impressive about Kingfisher was their goal difference of +34, Invicta coming in 2nd with a goal difference of + 9.
